Bamboo ropes make fantastic rope jewellery, due to its natural antibacterial, and washable material! This means these collars can be worn all the time, they can even be worn whilst bathing!

(Due to the chemicals in swimming pools we wouldn't advise they be worn whilst swimming as this may bleach the colour from the rope)

We don’t mass-produce our products; we make them with love and care to order. We will make your order by hand, the way you want. Our bamboo jewellery is made from the same materials used to make our bamboo shibari ropes.

Please give your measurements at check out. To measure ideally you tie a piece of rope around your neck/ankle/wrist and note to the length you want the collar to be, then using a ruler measure how long the string is. We recommend adding a little slack when measuring, depending on how you wish it to sit. A general guide is to add half inch to a "true" measurement taken with a tape measure to allow for the thickness of the rope.

Generally we think collars are:

Small 12 inch
Medium 16 inch
Large 20 inch

As the nature of rope, it is an absorbent material and therefore recommended that it is not worn in the shower or whilst bathing/ swimming.

CARE
The clasps, charm hangers and attachments are made from solid Stainless steel, some of our charms are made from made from silver/white gold plated copper, and can tarnish with wear. This does not effect the wearability of the item, only the colour. The price of the items reflect the choice of materials used. We also offer a range of luxury items made from sterling silver.

Hemp and bamboo jewellery can be slightly washed, we would reccomend hand washing in a liquid colourless ecological washing detergent.
We have had some successes in washing machines, but please note this can be high risk! This may wash some colour from the necklace, so advise this is done when the item has become grubby!
