All of my jewllery is made from the same rope I make for shibari. This means you can be wearing something that shows your love of shibari but that will only be spotted by people in the know. You can wear your kinky jewellery without your mother spotting it! These sets means that you can match your rope and jewellery - the only problem is picking which colour to go for!

Jute - The traditional rope of choice for those practising shibari and kimbaku, these ropes can feel scratchy against the skin, but over time the rope will become softer and smoother and will mold to you. Due to the absorbent nature of jute, it doesn’t respond to being washed.

Hemp- These ropes are dense and sit firm against the neck, my hemp is processed differently to industrial hemp and therefore doesn’t have the goaty smell. This jewellery can be washed, although it may age the piece.

Bamboo- Super soft and light, it's easy to forget your wearing them! These jewellery are long lasting and easy to clean.

Measurements
Having the right size is essential to having your piece fit properly, so please do take the time to measure. I have given a list of standard measurements at the checkout for those who may be buying for gifts etc. To measure ideally you tie a piece of rope around your neck/ankle/wrist and note to the length you want the collar to be, then using a ruler measure how long the string is. We recommend adding a little slack when measuring, depending on how you wish it to sit. A general guide is to add half inch to a "true" measurement taken with a tape measure to allow for the thickness of the rope.

The bracelets are:

Rope is an absorbent material and therefore it is recommended that it is not worn in the shower or whilst bathing/ swimming.

CARE
The clasps, charm hangers and attachments are made from solid Stainless steel, some of my charms are made from silver/white gold plated copper, and can tarnish with wear. This does not affect the wearability of the item, only the colour. The price of the items reflect the choice of materials used. I also offer a range of luxury items made from sterling silver.

Cleaning instructions.
Please note that cleaning is performed at own risk.
I have had success using this method-
A bowl of warm water with a teaspoon of non coloured biological mild detergent, gently agitate the mixture and soak for a maximum of 30mins. Shake the excess water off and allow to drip dry. Dry the piece by hanging on your laundry rack, or hanging in a light and airy place.

Please note using a harsh laundry detergent may wash some colour from the necklace, so advise this is done when the item has become grubby!
