Discreet rope day collar with princess charm
Discreet rope day collar with princess charm
DESCRIPTION
Hand-made to order beautiful Jute day collar made from the same shibari rope I make for rope bondage. This is a great discrete way to show your love of shibari, BDSM, a kink relationship - or even just as a piece of beautiful jewellery.
DETAILS
Jute is the traditional rope of choice for those practising shibari and kimbaku, these ropes can feel scratchy against the skin, but over time the rope will become softer and smoother and will mould to you. Due to the absorbent nature of jute, it doesn’t respond to being washed.
For those who would like a softer material for their collar I also offer Bamboo Jewellery.
Measurements
Please note because this jewellery is hand-made to orders returns can not be accepted where the wrong size has been order.
To measure: Take a piece of rope or cord and place it around your neck to determine how tight you would your necklace. Measure the length of the rope with a ruler.
I recommend adding a little slack when measuring, depending on how you wish it to sit. A general guide is to add half inch to a "true" measurement taken with a tape measure to allow for the thickness of the rope.
Standard measurements:
Small 12 inch
Medium 16 inch
Large 20 inch
CLEANING AND CARE
Rope is an absorbent material and therefore it is recommended that it is not worn in the shower or whilst bathing/ swimming.
The clasps, charm hangers and attachments are made from solid Stainless steel, some of my charms are made from silver/white gold plated copper, and can tarnish with wear. This does not affect the wearability of the item, only the colour. The price of the items reflect the choice of materials used. I also offer a range of luxury items made from sterling silver.
Cleaning instructions
to clean place in a bowl of warm water with a teaspoon of biological mild detergent, gently agitate the mixture and soak for a maximum of 30mins. Shake the excess water off and allow to drip dry. Dry the piece by hanging on your laundry rack, or hanging in a light and airy place.
