1. Find the two ends of the rope and hold them between your thumb and finger. Pick up the other end of your rope with the other hand between your thumb and finger.

2. Drop down the hand holding the knots and pick up the rope between your thumb and finger.

3. Raise up your hand

4. Drop the other hand down and pick the rope up.

5. Keep repeating these steps till you have just enough rope left to pick it up one more time.

6. Take hold of the rope in the middle of the bundle.

You want to make sure that the bit of rope that is dangling down is doing so on the thumb side of your fist.

7.  Bring the loose rope around your bundle

8. Keep wrapping around the bundle towards your fist until you have just enough rope left to go around two times.

9. Swap hands, and place your thumb over the wraps you have done.

10.Make one more loose wrap over your thumb

11. Pull a loop of rope through the gap created by your thumb

12. Pull the side of the loop that isn't attached to the bight to tighten the wrap.
