Kubi Shibari 首縛り
translation 'neck binding'. This name can be applied to any tie involving rope around the neck. Extreme care should be taken with ties involving the neck, and they should only be undertaken by advanced riggers after careful consideration of the risks.
Kun bang 捆绑
This is a Chinese term that translates as binding or tying up and is used in a simular way to the word Shibari.
Kuzushi nawa 崩し縄
'disordered rope'. This term can be used to refer to a specific element of a tie which is intentionally chaotic, or an entire tie. While many people attempt to tie beautiful balanced precise ties kuzushi nawa refers to embracing irregular, spontaneous ties that are not about the external appearance of the tie but the impact they have on the person being tied.
