Fusion No-dome

Name:

Fusion No-Dome, Nodome, Crossing hitch. (sometimes misidentified as a munter hitch)

Prounouced: 'no-doe-may'

Type:

Fusion Friction

Used

As discussed in the no-dome article this is a widely used friction in shibari that can be used to change the direction a rope is travelling in, it is sometimes used in fusion bondage as a decorative friction where the ropes are laid flat and the friction is not pulled tight. This means thats the friction does not hold in place in the same way, which is fine for a fashion tie but not for a tie where it is essential that the rope stays in place when the rope pattern is under tension.
